Cased Saxon Allgemeines Honor Cross With Swords
Unusual shaped cross with sword. The Saxon Honor Cross ( a civil award ) came in two variations with and without swords. The center has Friedrich August the King of Saxony's coat of arms on one side and the King's Cipher on the other. This unmarked example has 100% of the original gilding and ≈ 6" of original ribbon. Both the ribbon and medal are as good as the get. The case is red leatherette with EK and Crossed Swords embossed in gold on the top. The bottom of the case has the original jewelers stamp C. E. KUNATH. The exterior of the case has a couple superficial scuffs, the hinge and flip top catch are solid and functional. The cases interior has a white fabric top and a red velvet form fitting base. Saxon Awards are far and few between. Tthis example is one of the best I have seen. Excellent +

Cased Saxon Faithful Service Medal & Miniature
Correct ribbon. Pin, hinge and clasp are 100% on the medal, miniature and the case. Items from Saxony are always tough to find. And in this condition they are nearly impossible to find. Saxony was very small and they could only put a small force a field.. Mint -
