Cased Commemorative Medal Of 13 March 1938

    Light scuff on the top leatherette case at the upper corner, with a number of black spots on the same surface.  The interior white satin fabric is clean without damage and covers the hinge, the red flocked base is free from any damage or stains, hinge, button and catch are solid and functional.  The medal is mint and complete with the correct pin sewn to the upper obverse ribbon.  A "common cased medal of un-common condition."    Excellent -

1914 Iron Class 2nd. Class Court Mounted

    1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class, in a single Court Mount configuration.  Obviously done by a tailor in one of the uniform shops of the period, the Black and White ribbon is perfectly positioned and the reverse is covered with red felt like material.  Magnetic Core and nice uniform Patina.  I cannot get to the ring to see if it is marked.  A different mount that is usually seen mostly on multi position medals bars.    Excellent -

German WW I Machine Gunners Badge

    Grey / Green wool fabric is free from moth nips or tears and has not been sewn on a uniform.  The width is ≈ 8.6 cm measured across the fabric and the height is ≈ 5.8 cm measured across the fabric.  Both the Machine Gun and Belt of ammunition surrounding the gun are dark from age with slight rust.  The components of the badge are all magnetic all (6) mounting tabs are all there.  With the aid of a 10 X loop and a light you can see the makers mark on the reverse plate C.
