Onyx, Enamel & Silver Pendent

Jeweler made ( circa 1914  ) Iron Cross pendent.  Overall height is ≈ 3 cm.  The center portion is a raised and beveled onyx with an enameled Iron Cross pinned through the center.  The outer oval is enameled with inlayed enameled Iron Crosses at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions.  The reverse outer oval is stamped  800.  The pendent is complete with and un marked ≈ 26 inch rhodium suspension chain.  One small superficial chip to the outer enameled ring at the 8 o'clock position.  Very Good

Gold Iron Cross Locket

A most interesting gold locket with an Iron Cross motif.  The locket is solid gold; however the actual karat weight is not marked.  The overall width is ≈ 2.9 cm.  The highlight of this beautiful locket is the enameled EK II on the front. Not only is the EK II enameled but the ribbon is also enameled and the enameling could not be any better.  The locket hinge and catch are in solid 100% functional condition.  One of the photo retaining rings and clear celluloid photo covers have been lost to time.  Uniform wear to all surfaces with a different pattern on each side.  This would make a wonderful addition to any Iron Cross collection or antique jewelry collection.  Remarkable condition considering it is ≈ 80 years old.    Excellent
