Cased Personalized 1914 Iron Cross 1st. Class & Enameled Photo Broach
This is the most unusual cased set that I have ever encountered. It may even be a "put together" of authentic items, since I cannot say with certainty it is price according. Grey Green leatherette case with gilded accent leafs around the sloped parameter top. The leatherette is free from any defects. Push button, hinge and catch are all solid, correct and functional. The underside of the case top interior is ivory colored satin which does not glow under UV light, the satin extends across the hinge and is free from damage or stains. The cases interior base is a red padded velvet, there is not a fitted area for either cross; however, they both have left lasting imprints. The the case houses the 1st. Class EK professionally personalized to Dr. Stower and an enameled photo Broach which I assume is Dr. Stower. The EK has a magnetic core and is none vaulted maker marked KO, the hinge, pin and catch are correct and functional. The enameled Broach is free from damage, has a strong correct pin, hinge and catch and is stamped 800. This is one nice set and any EK Collector would be proud to have it in their collection. 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class With Ribbon Bar & Boutonnière
2nd. Class Iron Cross with magnetic core, and short ribbon. Ring is un-marked. The Iron Cross obverse paint is missing paint on the swastika and rates a solid 95%on the obverse. The outer frame and ridged portion show both patina and dirt, both add a lot of character to this EK II. I added the authentic Ribbon Bar & Boutonnière to sweeten the deal. Very Good
