Singer League Alsace Lorraine 1871 - 1918

    Badge of the Deutscher Sangerbund ( German Singers League ).  This group was made up of operetta vocalists & other professional singers and entertainers.  The badge is from the Alsace Lorraine, overall width is ≈ 62  mm, the finish has gilding which has become dull and thin with age.  The pin is correct, sound and functional.  Maker Marked  W.MAYER'S METALLWAARENFAB STUTTGART.    Excellent -
