German WW I  WKC "Quill Backed" Bayonet

    A  large bayonet measuring a full 26.75" and manufactured by WKC.  The fittings on the handle show slight lifting on the plating, with very light rust near the cross guard, this I feel certain would clean up easily.  The reddish brown wooden grip plates are free from cracks and show nice aging.  With the attachment lug being perfectly functional.  The blade has just a bit of graying at the tip otherwise it is without sharpening, nicks, dings or rust.  The leather scabbard has one small wrinkle about 2" from the top fitting.  Both fittings show slight lifting on the plating and are otherwise free from damage and retain their original staples, stitching is 100%.    Excellent -
