Deùtchland Erwacht Cigarette Card Album ( Rare Röhm Edition )

    "Germany Awake"  Cigarette Card Album  © 1933.  A big part Of Dr. Gobbles propaganda came in the form of these albums.  With the purchase of cigarettes you also received a photo of the good life in Germany under Hitler's Regime & the NSDAP Party.  Small photos, large photos, color photos etc.  Each had a little blurb on the reverse regarding the photo.  Then one would obtain the album and paste the cigarette card on the proper page,  this covered the blurb; however, the page the cigarette card was pasted to had the identical printed propaganda.  Once full the owner had a nice looking album of life in Germany under Hitler and the NSDAP.  This particular version has a cigarette card of Ernst Röhm as the Head of the SA.  I am almost certain after 30 / 6/ 1934 The Night Of The Long Knives a new version was published and the photo of Ernst Röhm in this version at least had to be removed.  This copy has a solid binding, all the pages and cigarette cards are neatly pasted in the proper place.    Excellent
