Victorian Kings Royal Rifles Helmet Badge

Large blackened brass badge for the home service helmet. ≈ 10.1 cm in height and  ≈ 1.0 in width.  A Maltese shaped cross surmounted by a Victorian crown to the top.  Each arm of the cross has battle honors stamped.  The central circle has "The Kings Royal Rifle Corps"  stamped with a stung bugle to the center.  The helmet badge has a long slip over attachment spring which is rock solid and functional.  The overall badge has uniform tarnish to the brass and superficial wear to the high spots.    Excellent
